Many iPhone packing Americans have been waiting long for MMS ability to arrive on the iPhone from AT&T, in fact there have already been a few lawsuits over the subject. Well it now seems those iPhoners don’t have that much longer to wait.

According to an article on appleinsider, AT&T has now confirmed that the iPhone will gain MMS ability as of the 25th of September, finally placing an elusive date on the deal.

MMS for the iPhone will arrive as a download from iTunes and will only be for the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS. So there it is MMS on the iPhone on September 25th. Let’s just hope nothing goes wrong and adds any further delay.
