Hello hats 2G BlackBerry service for 3G BlackBerry Bold service

Mobile phone network operator operated by Axiata in Kuala Lumpur, Hello, will halt sales of 3G BlackBerry devices with a view to focus on selling the 3G Bold states Hello CEO Simon Perkins according to an article over on phnompenhpost.

Perkins also confirmed that Hello has sold almost 1000 BlackBerry Pearl 8120 and BlackBerry Curve 8320 2G devices since the launch at the end of April.

Furthermore, Perkins stated that Hello imported some 200 BlackBerry Bold devices for an end of July launch of their 3G BlackBerry service and a further 1000 BlackBerry Bolds are passing through.
