Nokia Siemens Networks expects equipment market decrease by 10-percent

According to an article on totaltele.com, Nokia Siemens Network’s Chief Operating Officer, Mike Vehvilainen has stated that Nokia expects the telecoms equipment market to decrease by roughly ten percent this year.

Vehvilainen confirmed at the Boradband World Forum in Paris that Nokia Siemens Networks is maintaining what they have said for a while; that the market will drop this year, and there has been no change in sentiment in the market or from clients yet.

Vehvilainen also commented that there will be no strategy change with the appointment of Rajeev Suri as Chief Executive, who will take up his position as of the 1st of October.
