Looks like our buddies over in Canada have just gained a good deal on the BlackBerry Storm as Telus has now dropped the original asking price of $299.99 for the BlackBerry Storm states an article over on mobile syrup.

And it’s not just a few bucks drop either as the new lower price for the Telus branded BlackBerry Storm smartphone has been lowered to a cool $99.99 based on signing up for a three year contract.

Presumably Telus is making such a drastic price cut to shift as many BlackBerry Storm handsets before the arrival of the BlackBerry Storm 2 hits the streets.
