The Beatles: Yoko Ono approves them to iTunes, EMI says not yet

The widow of Beatle John Lennon Yoko Ono has told sky news that the entire Beatles back catalog and that it would be available for sale on iTunes.

Regardless of when this will actually happen, the arrival of the Beatles in Apple’s iTune Store will be the final imprimatur in the minds of a lot of people below a certain age.

Apple iTune’s store has for a while now been the number one US music retailer, although you still couldn’t actually buy the Beatles there.
