How are you getting on with new iPhone 3.1 firmware update?
iPhone 3.1 firmware update has been available a couple of days now and most probably been downloaded already by numerous iPhone packing fans.
There have been several reports on what iPhone 3.1 brings to the iPhone such as an anti-phishing feature, MobileMe Find My iPhone Remote Passcode Lock, messages, maps, settings, photos, iTunes store, Apps Store and such.
There have also been reports of losing the tethering hack, and no support for Exchange email access, but what we’d like to know is, how you are finding the new iPhone 3.1 update. Have you experienced and difficulties or is it all plain sailing and good.

Just pretty much a waste of time. They should have just waited until MMS was activated!!
I updated my 3GS iPhone to 3.1 without any problems and to my surprise my tethering hack remained intact and what’s more actually added in thethering usage which it didn’t have before. I’m with Telstra and does anyone know whether or not they are now entertaining tethering?
Seem to be having shortened battery life post update. Not yet sure. Life only about 12 hours minimal use.
