Alltel has now announced a new mobile phone to their portfolio reports Cnet, and it is the Samsung Freeform mobile phone.

The Samsung Freeform mobile handset is a messaging handset which features a slate style form factor with a 2.2 inch colour display, Bluetooth, MMS, text entry, music player, and GPS, speakerphone, and microSD expansion up to 16GB.

The Samsung Freeform mobile phone is available in burgundy or teal from Alltel and commands a price tag of $199.99 without commitment or $69.99 on a 1 year agreement and a mail in rebate of $50.
