T-Mobile drops proposed paper billing charge

T-Mobile drops proposed paper billing charge

Under: Mobile Phones
Date: September 12th, 2009

T-Mobile have made a policy change whereby they were shifting away from paper billing to online only billing, and unless you opted for online billing T-Mobile would place an additional charge for a paper bill.

Opting not to use paper for bills is environmentally admirable, but what about those people who do not have access to the internet, yes there are still some, and the older generation no doubt prefer the solidness of a paper bill, I’m a T-mobile customer and I know I do, but with the T-Mobile policy change those people would be charged for the privilege.

Well according to a post on the BGR, T-Mobile have again changed their policy and have now agreed not to charge a fee for those people who still wish to receive a paper bill for their mobile phone usage which is good move in the right direction by T-Mobile.
