We have a video for our readers today, which puts the BlackBerry 9700 Onyx up against the BlackBerry Storm 2 in a battle of the browsers and both running over WiFi.
The video, courtesy of daily mobile, and can be viewed below, lasts just over three minutes and it looks as if the BlackBerry Onyx comes out on top of the BlackBerry Storm 2 in the browser confrontation stakes.
The BlackBerry 9700 Onyx trounces the BlackBerry Storm 2 when loading a website although the reviewer does comment that the BlackBerry 9700 Onyx does has a newer OS than the BlackBerry Storm 2 so that may be the reason.
I can’t believe it takes a full two minutes to load a single webpage. I’m going to have to rethink a future storm purchase.
Keep in mind that the storm 2 will probably be released with an updated OS and that RIM purchased Torch Mobile. Therefore we will likely see a new and faster browser on all blackberrys soon.
