We are not too sure if this is official from Nokia but a daily mobile forum member has apparently updated their Nokia 5800 XpressMusic handset to firmware v31.0.008 and have produced a video showing this which you can view below.
The forum member hasn’t mentioned any improvement other than the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic touch sensitivity looks to have been increased, and there is no changelog available yet.
Of course as there is no official word from Nokia, the v31.0.008 firmware update could well be fake, but judging from the video it does look as if the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic updated to this new firmware offering, check it out and see what you think.
I just tried checking the firmware update and mine showed up no updates available although presumably it depends region to region deployment.
I just now updated to V 31 using NSU. Its a 134MB download. No major updates to homescreen and there is no Kinetic scroling. Think its a bug fix update..
my 5800 have to hard reset b’cos it loop restart after update success.
