According to Microsoft, three of the US’ big four carriers which to be specific are AT&T, Sprint and Verizon will be hitting the ground hard with Windows Mobile 6.5.

This will be part of the synchronised launch globally on October 6th. Microsoft deserve some credit for this the launching of a single device around the world on the same day is a challenge in itself. But the amount of coordination involved with countless carriers and manufacturers to organise them to launch a bunch of different devices is taking things to a different level.
