HTC has pushed out an update for the HTC Hero, an update which improves the interface speeds and fixes several bugs, yet T-Mobile G2 Touch customers are having to wait and continue to put up with bugs and the lag even though both mobile phones are identical reports the Register.

Despite numerous posts on support forums announcing customer frustration there is no telling when the T-Mobil G2 Touch will receive the same update and has thus prompted some customers to apply vanilla patches to variant handsets.

Some Orange customers have not been able to install the HTC Hero update although others have, so we’ll keep an eye on that one. So what gives T-Mobile, why does it take so long to tweak an update and keep your customers waiting?
