Vodafone is re-examining their 45 percent stake in Verizon Wireless, Vodafone chief exec Vittorio Colao has announced according to an article on the Telegraph.
Colao’s announcement has raised speculation that Vodafone may sell off its Verizon Wireless holding which is valued at some $50 billion, although Colao did say while at the Goldman Sachs media conference that Verizon Wireless is and has been a good investment.
Colao also stated that Vodafone is a minor investor but is very active and that the Vodafone board sontinues to re-look at the situation.
