Yesterday, Google had to deal with yet another outage on their Gmail webmail. Google gave notice of the outage at about 15:30 GMT and stated it affected “a small subset” of its user base, reports v3.

And as Google Gmail is now available on smartphones we thought we would relay this outage news to our readers.

However within an hour, Goggle had started to restore access to Gmail users, though some still experienced access to chat and contacts remaining offline. According to Google the problem has now been completely solved.
