Apparently the information which was recently published on the UK Apple store was incorrect, the App would not be made available alongside the car kit.

This means that rather than paying £100 for the car kit and the app you will actually need to part with £160, which is rather expensive.

Although thanks to Mark Owen we have found that there is no need to tape or stick your iPhone to your dashboard, the Tom Tom car kit for the iPhone 3GS is actually now available to pre order from the Uk Apple store for £100 it will be shipped within two or three weeks.
