iPhone MMS details slipped out by AT&T

Under: Phone Software Date: September 25th, 2009

It’s been heard from AT&T that new carrier settings for both the iPhone 3G and the iPhone 3GS should now be available.

The leaked information claimed that the new carrier settings would be available from ‘late morning’ which would be late afternoon Eastern Tine. This should now finally enable MMS support.

Owners of either an iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS will need to tether up to iTunes to grab hold of those settings, so it’s time to get out that cable and make sure you allow plenty of time to sit rigid in front of your computer to check for the update and of course the update and maybe even check for an update. Is there anyway to do the carrier update without having to jump to 3.1? I am on 3.0 and dont want all the issues I am reading about!
