Jabra device maker strengthens cooperation with RIM HTC and Asus

Apparently GN Netcom has now stepped up their cooperation with smartphone vendors such as HTC, Asustek, and Research In Motion according to the regional managing director, APAC, mobile at GN Netcom, Leon Li, reports digitimes.

GN Netcom markets Jabra branded Bluetooth devices and produces stereo headsets that support the iPhone. GN has also produced a Bluetooth headset for HTC on an OEM basis, and GN and Asustek are cooperating in regional sales and hoping to extend that cooperation from mobile phones to PC systems.

Penetration rate of Bluetooth headset in the global market is 9 percent average worldwide and is up to 20 percent in the United States remarked Li citing GN compiled data.
