Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2 Possible price drop to $199

Under: Mobile Phones
Date: September 30th, 2009

Latest news claims that wireless carrier Sprint may well be about to lower the price tag of the high end Windows Mobile based HTC Touch Pro2 to a price of just $199.99 from October 1st.

This means that the smartphone could see a drop of $150 on the price upon signing a two year contract agreement with the operator after a mail in rebate. This is fantastic news for Sprint’s subscribers, who wont have to find $349 any longer, we doubt very much whether Verizon will be as happy about the news though.

It was expected that Sprint would actually lower the price, for the Windows based Mobile powered phone, more so since it reduced the price for Palm’s Pre and is soon expected that we will be seeing the HTC Hero. For more information visit news.softpedia.com
