HTC Desire on Verizon gets approved by FCC

Under: Mobile Phones
Date: October 1st, 2009

The FCC has now given approval of the upcoming HTC Desire which is bound for Verizon Wireless as the product SKU is listed as ADR6200VW which means it is destined for Verizon and is a Android platform handset, reports brighthand.

There is very little info on the HTC Desire, but the rumour mill has been churning and a couple of rumours point towards the HTC Desire sporting the Google brand, so will not incorporate the HTC Sense user interface, and also a rumour that the HTC Desire will include WiFi.

Due to confidentiality request at the FCC no further details have appeared and thus the HTC Desire still remains a mystery for now.
