News for Nokia fans out there, there has been an firmware update to version 30.033 for the Nokia N96.

The update comes with lots of user improvements including a Nokia Facebook app directly into the device itself. The 2.8 inch smartphone that runs Symbian 3rd edition now has the Facebook client as an automatic default so it will install straight to your Nokia N96 automatically.

A number of performance issues have also been addressed in this 30.033 firmware update, including an improvement to the ringtone audio levels. To get the software through your N96 simply type in *#0000# on the home screen or go to the Device manager, options, check for updates and follow your nose.
