Sprint BlackBerry Tour OS 4.7.1.57 Update: Does it work?
It appears that the BlackBerry operating system version 4.7.1.57 for the BlackBerry Tour smartphone is quietly being pushed out by Sprint according to an article over on the Sprint community forum.
The BlackBerry OS 4.7.1.57 update is being pushed out wirelessly to select people, but on returning to the website have found that the poster has now corrected the post to say that OS 4.5.1.57 is a beta version which hasn’t been vetted by Sprint.
The poster has now closed the thread and says they will reopen once they have an official release of OS 4.7.1.57 for the BlackBerry Tour. So if anyone has already grabbed the update feel free to let us know if it works.

I have downloaded the software update but I not not recognized any noticiable changes. Te device does work well but that’s about it. I read that one benefit from the update was improved visual email but I did not notice anythng different with this version form the old version.
