Phonearena got there first this time, with getting their mitts on a pre release BlackBerry Storm 9550.

They have given it a glance and a preview. Its not as bright as some of the other 9550 first looks that we have seen to date, however they have come away with the opinion that it is an improved BlackBerry Storm.

Having said that the improved SurePress still isn’t going down too well and is not something that you would be likely to enjoy using on a permanent basis. Going by what you can see on the video, we would imagine that the OS and hardware are both old builds, as neither the exact OS version nor what the CPR manufacture date was stated.
