Today October the 6th see the official launch of Windows Mobile 6.5 and the smartphone which will carry the operating system will soon be coming out in their droves, much like the HTC Imagio which is now live with Verizon Wireless reports engadget mobile.

The Windows Mobile 6.5 packing HTC Imagio is now live with Verizon Wireless and commands a price tag of $199 based on a two year agreement and after an online discount of $100.

Quick spec reminder, the HTC Imagio offers up a 3.6 inch WVGA display, 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus, TouchFLO 3D user interface, VZ Navigator, and VCAST Mobile TV.
