Verizon New Phones: Motorola Sholes and HTC Hero

Under: Motorola
Date: October 8th, 2009

Just one year after the first Android phone debuted, the mobile operating system is now finally gathering up some speed.

Partnered with Google, Verizon will now be able to offer two mobile devices based on Android. It is expected that the additions will add some pizzazz to the carrier’s otherwise dreary smartphone lineup.
The announcement by Verizon claims that the two Android based phones will be here I the ‘coming weeks’, it hasn’t yet stated which Android phones will be on it’s network.

Rumour is that is may well be Motorola Sholes and the HTC Hero. The Hero was introduced back in June by HTC a nice phone with 3.2 inch touchscreen display, GPS a digital compass to name just a few features. The Motorola Sholes is still in darkness as Motorola have yet announce the device. Source – wired.com
