Microsoft Pink Dead and Buried?

Apparently an anonymous source has exhaustive access to Microsoft’s “Project Pink” information, which was rumoured to take on the iPhone is apparently “near death and probably will be cancelled” reports an article on appleinsider.

Apparently “Project Pink” is in disarray and with “no braintrust that understands how to build a product.” Furthermore, efforts to construct a 3rd party platform for Project Pink have also fallen on troubled time as the unnamed source states the “team members don’t know how to get it done,” and other employees complain they “hate the product” and feel like it was “never intended to ship.”

Bad news for Microsoft considering they forked over some $500 million to purchase developer Danger, which they converted into the top secret “Pink” project, intended to challenge the iPhone.
