Following the release of iPhone OS 3.1.2, the iPhone 3.1.2 is now also available to download.

The download is free, and can be obtained from Apple’s download section. Great news for developers as instruments can now allow you to profile your application on a device via the Wi-Fi connection.

The update apparently contains bug fixes and some improvements, which include fixes for a sporadic issue that may well cause the iPhone not to wake after a sleep.
