Apparently Swedish telecom service provider, Telia intends to release a Spotify branded mobile phone sometime in the future; Spotify being a European music service, according to an article on techcrunch.

Word is that London based INQ is working to develop the Spotify phone, and INQ is backed by Li Ka-Shing, who just happened to recently invest in Spotify.

As for state of play with this Spotify mobile phone, well it’s in the design stages at the moment and apparently there are plans for a roll out to all markets on various carriers, but no word on actual release date or pricing as yet.
