Celebrations at Google as their Android platform has won some significant support from the operator community as U.S carrier Verizon Wireless agrees to use the platform to deliver services devices and applications.
Verizon and Google will create market and distribute both products and services including the co development of some Android based devices that will come pre loaded with applications from both companies and also some third party developers.
Sadly there are no details yet, on who will actually manufacture the Android devices, however Verizon have stated that they will start introducing the gadgets within the next few weeks. Source - emii.com
