Jason Slater of jasonslater.computing has got himself an Android packing HTC Hero to play with, and he says he has been presently surprised as the HTC Hero is smaller and sturdier than anticipated.

The HTC Hero touch screen is really quite intuitive and the Android Market is a good place for downloading applications of choice, best of all he says is Google Mail, Flickr and Twitter.

The only downside he can see with the HTC Hero is the battery life, as the smartphone seems to deliver only a single day of usage before requiring charging.
