LG has now announced their financial results for the 3rd quarter of 2009, and have apparently recorded their highest ever revenue and profit for the period of the year reports gsmarena.
LG’s consolidated revenue was up by 15.7% compared to the previous year and hit some US$11.2 billion. Operating profit was 1.3% higher than the previous third quarter at US$685 million.
The word is the mobile phone division of LG was one of the best performing and recorded US$3.75 billion in sales which is an increase year on year of 21.9% while operating profit is up some US$314 million which is 8.4%.
