AT&T has posted their third quarter results, which shows AT&T isn’t doing too badly with the highest net gain in wireless subscribers in AT&T history.

Wireless subscribers saw a 2.0 million increase to hit the 81.6 million mark, and is up 6.7 million on last year, with 1.4 million retail post-paid wireless net adds in the quarter making it the best ever 3rd quarter post-paid wireless subscriber churn of 1.17%.

Furthermore there were 4.3 million post-paid 3G integrated wireless handsets added to the AT&T network including 3.2 million iPhone activations, the largest quarterly increase in the history of AT&T.
