Verizon’s fanfare when the BlackBerry Storm was first release was loud and clear, but after the mayhem caused in the aftermath, Verizon is taking a different approach with the BlackBerry Storm 2 it would seem.
Rather than afford the BlackBerry Storm 2 with the same gusto as the original, Verizon has held off on officially announcing the smartphone. But now they have in a quiet subdued kind of way.
According to an article on engadget mobile, Verizon has now announced the BlackBerry Storm 2 will launch on the 28th of October, and will becomes available for $179.99 after a mail in rebate on a 2 year contract; begin trumpet fanfare.
