As Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture is my favourite piece of classical music I simply had to post this particular set of videos supplied courtesy of the guys over at engadget mobile.
The videos which can be viewed below are of Vodafone NZ’s Symphonia which takes 1000 mobile phones and syncs 53 different ringtone alerts via 2000 sent messages to construct the 1812 overture.
Now the guys at engadget mobile say we dare you not to be impressed, well I have to say although it is a pretty cool idea, I dare not to be overwhelmingly impressed as it kind of murders Tchaikovsky’s 1812, still videos are below for you to make up your own mind.
