The Verizon BlackBerry Storm 2 smartphone is apparently slated for release today the 28th of October and will come with a Microsoft Bing BlackBerry app according to an article over on idg.no, who state they received word from none other than Research In Motion themselves.
The thing is there is currently no Microsoft Bing application for BlackBerry, so specifics on this is kind of scarce but they say they are waiting for RIM to get in touch with said specs.
This new BlackBerry app will no doubt offer a similar local search, web search and mapping that is presently available on the mobile version Bing.com, and the mapping could be fairly interesting; so more when we get it.
