Video: Google Voice now improved with existing number and voicemail

Previously with Google Voice, customers who wished to use the service had to be given a Google number; however, now Google has improved Google Voice whereby users can now retain the use of their carrier issues mobile phone number.

Features in the new improved Google Voice service are…online searchable voicemail, custom voicemail greetings for different callers, email and SMS notifications, free auto-voicemail transcription, and of course low price international calling.

Furthermore, apparently now if you switch carriers you get to take your messages with you, which is kind of cool. A short video on Google Voice can be viewed below…enjoy.
