Canadians can now rejoice as Nokia announce that the Nokia Surge 6790 has now arrived on the Rogers Wireless network, and is apparently one of the cheapest smartphones around as it has come in at a lower price point that expected.

Quick spec reminder, the Nokia Surge 6790 offers a 2.4 inch QVGA display, a 2 megapixel camera, GPS, full QWERTY keyboard, Ovi Maps with Drive and Walk navigation, runs on Symbian S60 FP2, and microSD expansion.

So just how much is the Nokia Surge 6790 going to cost the Canadians on Rogers? Word is the messaging phone will cost just $29.99 with a 3 year contract of course; short Nokia Surge 6790 video below for your enjoyment via smr.newswire.
