The BlackBerry Bold 9700 will be shown off at a media event on the 5th of November at a Sydney restaurant in Australia, and Research In Motion has worded the invite as “to celebrate the Australian debut of the BlackBerry Bold 9700” reports apcmag.
The BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone is expected to become available in Australia sometime in November and will be released on Vodafone, and a Vodafone spokesperson has confirmed the BlackBerry Bold 9700 will be available later this year, although pricing has not yet been confirmed.
Telstra and Opus are both expected to offer the BlackBerry Bold 9700, but more significantly for Opus and Vodafone is the BlackBerry Bold 9700 also runs on HSDPA 900MHz which both carriers have deployed in regional Australia.
