It appears that Canada’s Telus has now gained some HTC Hero love as Telus post a GSM, HSDPA variant of the HTC Hero to their website reports the Boy Genius Report.

Most already knew Telus would offer the HTC Hero, and well there’s no real surprise in store as the Telus HTC Hero will probably ship with the same specs as other HTC Heroes.

Also there’s been no word on whether this GSM variant HTC Hero is shipping with Android 1.5 or will pack the new Android 2.0 OS, but hopefully it will see 2.0.
