Canadian carrier Bell Mobility along with Samsung has announced the exclusive availability of the Samsung Omnia II smartphone, the official smartphone of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games reports BCE.

The GSM Samsung Omnia II with Bell Mobility offers a 3.7 inch WVGA AMOLED touch screen, Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system, a 5 megapixel camera, 16GB of onboard storage, Bluetooth 2.0, and WiFi.

The Samsung Omnia II on Bell Mobility will become available later this month although actual pricing for the smartphone still hasn’t been announced, so here’s hoping that the official endorsement by the Olympics doesn’t drive that price up too much.
