LG GW620 Eve heading for Rogers

Apparently Canada’s Rogers Wireless will be among the first carriers in the world to offer the LG GW620 Eve handset which is LG’s first Android platform offering reports the guys over at engadget mobile.

Quite notably for North Americans, it means there is a version of the LG GW620 Eve at retail which will work on not only Rogers but AT&T, Telus and Bell as well, although there’s no word on if or when AT&T may see the device.

Spec wise the LG GW620 Eve packs in the Android OS, a full QWERTY slide keyboard, 7.0Mbps HSDPA capability and a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus. Price wise Rogers will offer the handset for $49.99 Canadian on a 3 year agreement.
