The invasion of the Droid has begun and a tad prematurely as the guys over at engadget mobile report receiving several images of the Motorola Droid on sale at unspecified Best Buy Mobile somewhere in the good ole US of A.

Apparently the word is Best Buy Mobile representative could sell the Motorola Droid as of yesterday the 5th, so if you haven’t got the Droid bug yet it may be worth checking with your local Best Buy store.

Furthermore they are also reporting that Wal-Mart also was selling Droid early, and so has Target Mobile Solutions.
