Word has it that Palm is to introduce by the end of the year, a new Web based development environment for webOS apps and will be known as Ares reports an article on pcworld.
At the Open Mobile Summit conference in San Francisco, Ares received its first public demo, and has been designed to easily enable developers to pull various components together in JavaScript to construct apps for the Palm Pre smartphone and the Palm Pixi.
Apparently Ares will deliver another way for developers to write webOS apps and will allow fast development via a drag and drop interface; for more follow the link.
