I ordered this phone from Rogers on the first day it was available and they informed me that it would be shipping that day and should arrive in two to three business days. Previously they had told me that I was unable to pre-order. When there was no movement on my account I called back and was informed that the phone was on back order. I suspect Rogers was jumping the gun in “releasing” the 9700, they just wanted your bucks locked in before they received the phone.
