Apparently the image above is presumed to be of the rumoured HTC Passion/Dragon smartphone which is reportedly destined for Verizon Wireless. Everyone knows it is definitely an image of a HTC Handset due to the clock widget which is of course HTC Sense UI, and has been posted by the guys over at Boy Genius Report.
Along with the image comes new speculation that The HTC Passion/Dragon will be bringing its Android OS 2.0, large 4.3 inch capacitive touch screen and 5 megapixel camera to Verizon’s door sometime in the middle of December.
Currently the Verizon Motorola Droid is gaining the largest share of Android hype out there but if the HTC Passion/Dragon should hit Verizon shelves before Christmas, Droid just may find itself with a contender for your Christmas cash.
Apparently the BGR says that one of their informants has said that the HTC Dragon may well hit as early as Black Friday so we’ll be keeping our eyes open just in case.
