Motorola TM710 OPhone Launched in China

Over in the good ole US of A it may be the Motorola Droid against the Apple iPhone, but over in China Apple will probably be more wary of the OPhone, as Motorola China has now launched the Motorola TM710 which is Motorola’s first OPhone TD-SCDMA mobile reports digi.tech.

The OPhone is basically the open mobile operating system in China and based on Android, and apparently Lenovo where the first to use the operating system. The Motorola TM710 smartphone will be with China Mobile but as yet no word on when t will become available.

Appearance wise the Motorola MT710 looks a lot like the Motorola Droid and sports a 3.7 inch WVGA touch screen which may or may not be multi-touch, will support the local TD-SCDMA network, support for CMMB for China Mobile TV, and WiFi.

As for pricing on the Motorola MT710 that too hasn’t been announced but hopefully Motorola will keep an eye on iPhone sales in China and price the Motorola TM710 accordingly.
