Samsung Upgrades South Korean Corby with 3G and larger display

Under: Samsung
Date: November 17th, 2009

The Samsung Corby S3650 mobile phone over in Europe is an entry lever mobile handset that doesn’t sport 3G, but in Samsung’s home turf, South Korea, Samsung has now decided to give the Samsung Corby S3650 a little upgrade.

According to an article over on unwired view, Samsung has announced that the Samsung SCH-W900/SPH-W9000/SPH-W9050 Korean Corby now sports a 3 inch WQVGA display rather than the European version’s 2.8 inch QVGA display.

And there’s a little extra for the South Korean Samsung Corby as Sammy pops in some 3G goodness, 100MB of internal memory rather that the 50MB on the European version and DMB TV and Haptic UI.

The South Korean Samsung Corby SCH-W900/SPH-W9000/SPH-W9050 will also be available in several colour hues including Energetic Green, Jamaican Yellow, Cupid Pink and Minimal White; we presume the pricing remains the same as before.
