Everyone who wants the Nokia N900 3.5-inch touchscreen smartphone will be happy to know there is a new firmware v1.2009.42.11 update available which is only available via Nokia Software Updater (NSU).
The new Nokia N900 Firmware v1.2009.42.11 update is available now which is a little odd considering many of you have not yet got the new handset, the new update is a massive 165MB and the guys over at NokiaExperts have said that future updates should feature the option of Over The Air (OTA) updates.
The new Nokia N900 Firmware v1.2009.42.11 update will offer a little stability of the handset and also offers longer battery life which is great news. You will need to sync your Nokia N900 to the Nokia Software Updater to see if your factory release is covered by the update.
Please remember and we always say this “Make sure you make a back-up of your Nokia N900 before updating”, better to be safe than sorry as they say.
