Word has it that Samsung has launched two low end mobile phones in India and are the Samsung CorbyTXT and Samsung Corby Mate handsets reports an article over on the Samsung Hub, and are said to both target the cheap messaging arena.

Spec wise the Samsung Corby Mate is a side slide form factor with a 2 inch display, 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, microSD expansion, FM radio, and 3.5mm headphone jack, and full QWERTY keyboard.

The Samsung Corby TXT on the other hand holds a candy-bar form factor with a 2 megapixel camera, 2.2 inch display, FM radio, full QWERTY keyboard, 3.5mm jack Bluetooth and microSD expansion; so much the same handset with the exception of form factor and screen size.

Price wise, over in India the Samsung Corby Mate will command a price tag of RS.7300 while the Samsung Corby TXT will command Rs.7900
