Yea.. I would love to purchase this phone it is amazing i have been following it every day since it was first rumored!!! on the other hand i can’t afford that stupid 3g fee of like $30/month…!!!! Verizon seems to only care about money not customers!!!

I will absolutely buy an Omnia II. I currently have an Omnia i910 and use it constantly. With the addition of SPB Mobile Shell, this phone is extremely versatile. The Omnia II addresses all of the small criticisms I have of my current phone (no standard headphone jack, poor placement of SD card slot, tethered stylus) and adds improved features like Windows 6.5 and a larger, brighter screen. Unless Verizon screwed it up in some way that I’m not aware, this would be (in my opinion), the perfect smart-phone.

I dont care for the keyboard on the Droid and only like the Storm 2 because the camera has a flash so I will wait to check out the Samsung Omnia 2 in person before I upgrade from my LG Voyager.

This is great news. I was first planning to buy the Storm 2, but than saw the Omnia 2 on-line with all its features. This is the must have phone. Although the motorola Droid is close, it beats the Storm. Less than 2 weeks for me to get to the next level. The Omnia 2 is the IPhone killer for Verizon.

I’ve just joined Verzion Wireless as a Business Account Manager and after much research I’ve requested the Omnia 2 as my company issued phone. Glad to see the release date has finally been confirmed!

I will absolutely be buying this phone. I love the Omnia with SPB - AWESOME! The Omnia 2 will remove the minor irritations of the Omnia. There’s no reason to get an iPhone when you get so much more functionality and a phone that actually makes and receives calls! :-)

I’m stuck between the Omnia 2 and Storm 2, both have GSM and WIFI, the two qualities I need in a phone. Not sure about the Storm, everyone can hear you typing(clicking) in a quieter environment. Thanks for the release date, looks like I’ll be checking this out December 2nd. Anyone know if it has the pinch-n-zoom feature for web browsing?
