Dell Mini 3i to Launch on China Mobile this week

Dell’s first entry into the mobile arena, the Dell Mini 3i smartphone will according to an article over on businesswire become available by the end of the month through China Mobile stores nationwide with Dell direct to follow after.

The Dell Mini 3i runs China Mobile’s OPhone platform and is GSM/EDGE but lacks 3G, and sports a 3.5 inch widescreen HD touch screen and comes preloaded with 139Mail email and Fetion chat and is compatible with numerous OPhone platform apps, and sports a 3 megapixel camera with auto-focus and flash.

The Dell Mini 3i will become available in two colour options, Oiled Bronze and Red Passion and also packs microSD expansion. Dell has basically gone with a China launch for their Dell Mini 3i smartphone first hoping to grab as many of China Mobile’s 500 million subscribers as possible.

A spokesperson for China Mobile has said that they are excited for Dell to be amongst the first manufactures to intro new technology based on the OPhone platform.
